The Key by Maxine Hopkins

I kept a key on my keychain, Even though I physically had relocated, I yet carried this old key. I allowed it a place of lodging which gave access to me, and me to it by keeping it attached to my keychain. The key was useless to my present for it represented my past. The Lord gave me this word, after I encountered a situation with the key of my past, and could not get in my apartment. I had my keychain, but since the past key looked similar to my new key, I chose it by mistake, and tried to unlock my NOW door with it, after minutes of frustration, I realized it was the wrong key. Why was I yet holding on to this old key, it could not unlock my NOW door, that I desparately needed opened, it had already locked my past door, so now unless I had intentions of going back to my past location unauthorized, this key was useless. I realized this was a useless key attached to my progressing destination. After fumbling to find my rightful key I gained access to my apartment. The Lord let me know that although I tried to unlock my new destination with an old key, the only thing it did was frustrate, hinder, and delay me for it took away time that I could have spent on something else, Why am I holding on to this old key I asked myself? My answer was because I may have been afraid of letting go of the past, because maybe I felt that I needed it for some reason or another, maybe I felt that I would possibly return to this old place not realizing that should I have returned, the key would still be useless to me, for the place where I used to live may have now been occupied by someone else.

The Word speaks of first natural then spritual, Why couldn't I take the old key off of my keychain and throw it away? Did I not realize that whoever finds the key, do not know me, and if they did know me and they knew it was my key, they would not have access to anything but emptiness, for the place where I used to live would be unoccupied, they would not be able to open any where I am, for they do not have access into my NOW destiny, I don't live there anymore. The only one that can do anything with that key is the landlord of the old house, however, if I did not return the old key upon moving, his options would only be to change the locks , so He can't even do anything with the key.

So there I was holding on to a key that was useless to me of which I was afraid to let go of, for whatever reason and could not use. So the moral or lesson learned here is that I hold the keys to my past and my present. I have the power and the wisdom to choose what I desire in life. I can not continue to choose to desire to move up in God and yet hold on to my past key that will cause me to fumble, be frustrated, hindered, delayed, and ignorant, or continue to borrow the office key from my new destination that will allow access temporarily, or choose to purchase a new key which will cost me repeating things I have already gone through in my life or I can choose to keep up, be alert as to where I am in life, throw away the old, and cling on to the new key and enter inot my new destination to enjoy what the Lord has for me.

Prophetically speaking no one knows your past but you, God, those associated with your past, and satan. Only you can choose to hold on and fear letting go. When chose to throw my old key away, I gave up all fears, ties, associations, memories, etc that went along with it, why? I was ready for the new place that God had for me. I use the old things in my life and the former places I have been as a testimony to those who are seeking answers to why they cannot enter into their new places in God. I threw this old key away realizing only God and I will know what it unlocked and locked in my life. No one else has to know unless God prompts me to share. Stop telling others where I use to live, it only goes on your application for things you desire in life, and only if they request it. You cannot get deliverance from a thing until you face it. just as he asked ADAM WHERE ART THOU! you must realize where you are NOW! now where you have been.

Begin to accept the new place in my life, throw the past out, and forget it. it has frustrated, hindered, delayed, and decieved me and you long enough. It decieved me when it acted like it was the right key every time I tried to get a door opened to my destiny and put it in and nothing opens, it frustrated me and delayed and hindered me when it took the time to do all of that. Today I know the key to use to go in and out of my new place in God, and that is the keys to the Kingdom for the word says I have given you the keys to the kingdom and whatsoever you bind on earth, I have already bound in Heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth I have already loosed in Heaven. Jesus Christ is my new keys for he said if you abide in me and my words abide in you, you can ask what you will and it shall be done unto you. Good Treasure By Maxine Hopkins

Just finished conversing with the Lord. The Lord began to say to me in my time with him, to begin to operate out of the GOOD TREASURE OF MY HEART! For so long I have longed to see good and do good for others but never knew how to just do it or to make it happen! Every now and then I would manage to do good if I could afford it. But on this particular day, The Lord revealed something to me.

First of all I need to know WHAT A TREASURE IS? A TREASURE IS: accumulated or stored wealth in the form of money, jewels, or other valuables. and personal property that is hidden in something else for an extended period and whose owner cannot be determined, and also A great quantity of anything collected for future use; abundance; plenty. Ok, Lord.

Now I need to know WHAT DOES THE WORD OPERATE MEAN? OPERATE MEANS: To bring about, effect, or produce, as by action or the exertion of force or influence as well as handle and cause to function.

So in other words the Lord is saying this morning to me, as well as to His body, to begin to operate or bring about, effect, or produce by acting, or exerting force or influence, or begin to handle or cause to function your accumulated or stored wealth or valuables that is hidden in you for such a time as this. The Lord is saying to His people to begin to operate out of the overflow of the good treasure. He said we have whatsoever we say if we believe. He said so many of his people have not been recieving good from Him because of their lack of knowledge in this area.

You constantly choose to operate out of the evil treasure of our heart,He says, and the mouth only speaks out of the ABUNDANCE of whatever treasure you are operating or withdrawing from. He said his word has told us that Death and Life are in the power of the tongue. The Lord is saying he has put your destiny in your mouth. He says as a man thinks in his heart so is he, he has also said the word is nigh thee even in your mouth. He has said be slow to speak and quick to hear, why because we have to judge whether the thing spoken from our mouths came from the abundance of good or evil stored within us. We are not in the flesh, we are in the spirit if you have the Spirit of Christ living within you.

There is a wealth of evil from before you gave your life to Christ that is stored within you, however when Christ came He gave us the gift of faith to believe and please Him, by trusting in what He has spoken concerning us. The good is stored in you as well, because we have the breath of God in us. That is why the scripture says God looks at the heart, to determine the treasure that you operate from. You have good and you have evil. where is it? It is in your heart. The Lord said "I have set before you this day life and death." He suggests for us to choose Life that you and your seed can LIVE! you operating our of the good treasure of your heart, reflects not only you but your seed, I can go on and on as The Lord is constantly revealing this to me. I wanted to share with my friends what The Lord is saying. Pleas began to operate from the good treasure of your heart. That is the treaure that is made after the Lord's word. It has nothing to do with the natural, for he said sell all that you have and you will have treasure in heaven, it is the spirit of God that is the good treasure, walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill the lusts ofthe flesh or in other words the evil treasure of your heart.
